Best: Charlize Theron in Dior. Girl is ice cold, like the 1951 Cartier brooch at her waist but she sure is glam.
Worst: Lea Michele in Marchesa. This is a J-Lo cast off with a dose of Michelle Kwan ice dancing. The girl poses too hard. You just know she has spent hours practising in front of the mirror as a child.
Best: Sarah Michelle Gellar in Monique Lhuillier. People are saying it’s tie dyed. I think the fabric is more ink blown. Yes it’s big and it’s bold but it’s daring and I like it. Gorgeous SMG.
Worst: Frieda Pinto in ̶M̶y̶ ̶b̶e̶d̶s̶p̶r̶e̶a̶d̶ ̶f̶r̶o̶m̶ ̶1̶9̶7̶8̶, sorry, it’s Prada. (I don’t care if it’s cool and hip, it’s uncomely.)
Best: Angelina Jolie in Atelier Versace. I know right? Doesn’t look like Versace. I always say Versace, like Elizabeth Berkely did in Showgirls. I don’t know why. I also don’t know why Angelina suddenly developed an accent for 2012. She sounds like Cary Grant. Curious times indeed.
Worst: Amanda Peet wearing ̶my̶ ̶b̶e̶d̶r̶o̶o̶m̶ ̶c̶u̶r̶t̶a̶i̶n̶s̶ ̶f̶r̶o̶m̶ ̶1̶9̶8̶2̶, sorry Marc Jacobs. I have a theory that Marc Jacobs clothing is only for cool girls like Kiki Dunst, Sophia Coppola Mars and Mandy Peet but the bags and accessories are for Office Wendys and Shop Sharons. The clothes aren’t popular with the masses but the accessories certainly are. These cool girls wear him for free, no doubt, (holding a Balenciaga bag, never a MJ bag) while the average girl is funding the cool girls wardrobes. It’s feels like high school.
Best: Emma Stone in Lanvin tulle in plum and raspberry with an eagle belt. Yes, she can do no wrong and neither can her stylist, Petra Flannery.
Worst: Diana Agron is celebrating Chinese New Year early by wearing the decorations. It’s the Year of the Water Dragon, which is signals…what?…Sorry, no it’s a Giles Deacon dress, ‘lase-cut’ which is the fashion industries way of saying, ‘Lazzzzzers.’ *Insert Dr Evil voice*
Best: Helen Mirren in Badgley Mischka. Ink blue, flawless everything. The girl still brings it.
Worst: Kelly Osbourne in Zac Posen. She reminds me of Ursula in The Little Mermaid. Every time I see her I sing, ‘Poor unfortunate souls..’
