Sunday At My House

Tired bodies from a hot night. Tossing and turning, up every few hours. The boy who lives here has swollen eyes from hayfever. Girl who lives here is making French toast with maple syrup, for herself and her boy. Man who lives here is moving slowly to clean out shed. Coffee. Me? Marinating edits for book, while googling new houses in new areas. Should we move? Moving can be fun, non? Man who shares my life tells me he is ready to go.  Life is an adventure and we should seize the day, or in the very least, new lands.

“Do not have any attachments, do not have anything in your life you are not willing to walk out on in 30 seconds flat if you spot the h̶e̶a̶t̶ opportunity around the corner.”
Neil McCauley – Heat
